Plugin: My Top Commentators

Daily Blog Tips released their third plugin this week called “My Top Commentators“. The purpose of this plugin is pretty straightforward–to know your royal commentators and at the same time, hide it from public.

I love the idea behind this plugin. While most blogs displayed the top commentators on the sidebar, this one shows the stats on the administration dashboard. You might ask why it was built that way though. So, read on.

As your blog grows, you will often bombard with short, wonderfully meaningless comments that contribute nothing to the post. Not only it makes your blog cluttered with spam comments everywhere, it may annoy other readers. Worst case is, your blog will be the victim of spammers. Bad, eh?

As described by DailyBlogTips, people that comments often on your blog are your most loyal readers, so if you wish to thank them, you won’t be thanking wrong person as this plugin will help you effortlessly.

This plugin is worth a try. Read more on “My Top Commentators” plugin at DailyBlogTips as well as Blogging Tips.

No problem Kevin. I was thought that this is how blogs work…to be informative as possible.
