Do Not Rely On Weekends Traffic

The topic itself is pretty subjective. Some bloggers prefer to publish their post on weekdays as it is the time when traffic at its best. The rest prefers to post on weekend due to lack of time. Many people defend that there is no right answer, and I agree to a certain extent. There are bloggers out there who publish their post on weekend and still attaining tremendous success.

The theory of traffic peak on weekdays doesn’t always true but still, I admit it does. Depending on geographical factor, this is best left to the webmaster to analyze. Blog Bloke posted a very interesting post on this.

In summary, this is what I can summarized.

  • Write most of the posts on weekdays.
  • People surf the Web during office hours.
  • Make any minor/major adjustment on weekends.
  • Target the demographic traffic.
  • Adjust posting schedule accordingly.

The post was referring to Bloke’s experience but I find it very useful and worth mentioning. Read the entire post.
